What an awesome promo tonight from CM Punk.. Enough to get you excited about what we should be seeing on the show. Some real spark, and attitude.. But wait that was the attitude era and we don't have that anymore sadly.. These days the WWE isn't even employing Wrestlers or is even a Wrestling company anymore..
Anyway, it should be an interesting few weeks until Money in the Bank.. To see whether he actually leaves with the title or not.. Because the one problem I see with all this is that, he won't be going anywhere with any belt if they (Vince) doesn't allow it. So, all this talk about a shoot promo and such doesn't mean much when he keeps saying he's taking the title with him. Because we all know that won't happen. Medusa got away with it once years ago, and a war almost broke out over the Montreal Screw job to prevent a possibility of it a second time.
But if he's genuinely unhappy hopefully he finds a home somewhere that will be better suited for him. And maybe he'll be back, or we'll get to see his work where ever he lands.
That was an interesting RAW last night. I can't make heads or tails of what CM Punk is doing. If he leaves I could care less as I have grown tired of him. I like him better when he was just coming over from ECW. Do you think Punk would land over at TNA...I mean Impact Wrestling?
ReplyDeleteIt would seem that Impact Wrestling is the most likely place. But with it being WcW v2.0 the environment probably isn't the best. Week in and week out I keep reading about what a mess things actually are over at Impact.
ReplyDeleteWith what I know I'd hope he goes back to Ring of Honor. I've been reading good things about it. And that they put a real push behind the athletic aspect of wrestling. But I haven't managed to see any of it yet.
But I'd bet it's all a work, and may take time off and come back. It's hard to read into some of these things. Every now and again they really do throw a swerve..
For what it's worth the last things I read today, and was mentioned on a Podcast was that he was escorted from the building last night and suspended indefinitely after RAW went off the air.
But it was a double show since next week is on tape. So, his ending of the live show was a nice cliffhanger for the taped show next week.
